I don't think you can really get to know if you are compatible with a person until you have lived with them for a while. That's when you can see if your relationship can bear the weight of the real world. If the long distance relationship is building towards moving closer, then it can work like any other. If it just stays long distance, all you're really doing is making an excuse for a booty call whenever you get to the other one's town.Does anyone agree that long distance relationships are a bad idea?
No, they can work out in some cases.


For example, my finace and I. We met a while ago, and now we're happily engaged :)
