I don't think it will take 50 years, but I can foresee many forsaking government recognized ';marriage'; altogether if same sex marriage is forced on all 50 states against the will of the people. In fact, it might be required, because the state may refuse to recognize church marriages for those churches refusing to marry gays.With the push to make gay marriage normal now what will be considered normal relationships in 50 years?
Adults should have the right to engage in romantic relationships with other adults, without governmental interference. What's so hard to understand about that?
The same thing that is considered ';normal'; now. Two consenting adults who want to be together.
